Certified Wine Specialist Exam
New for 2008, the Cleveland Wine School will host four prep-classes and proctor the Certified Wine Specialist exam. Offered by the Society of Wine Educators, the Certified Wine Specialist (CWS) exam was designed for the wine industry by a team of industry wine educators. The program covers core principles and fundamentals of wine required to work within the industry including viticulture, vinification, grape varieties, labeling laws and common wine faults. Candidates may choose to attend prep courses for an additional charge or just sit and pay for the exam.
