Wine 101: A Systematic Approach to Wine Tasting

This tasting seminar is the perfect introduction to the world of wine. Learn to swirl, sniff and sip like a pro while acquiring a true understanding of the tasting process. Understanding basic grape varieties will help you when selecting from a menu or a retail shelf. This class includes customized text with a one-hour presentation followed by a tutored wine tasting. No wine experience needed.



Class Fee: $45 per person (must be 21 to attend - photo ID required)

How do I know this class is right for me?

  • While there is a lot that can be learned by tasting wine on your own, there is so much more you can discover if you have a systematic approach to tasting wine. Whether you know a little or a lot about wine, this class focuses on the professional method of tasting and provides a foundation for taking your wine knowledge to a new level.  

How long is the class?

  • Two hours.

Is food available during the class? 

  • We do not offer food during our tutored tastings. Tasting techniques are best understood without food.

Is there assigned seating in class?

  • Seating is on a first come, first served basis. If you have a seating request or are meeting friends who registered separately, please arrive early or send us an email so we can accommodate you as best as possible.
