AT HOME STUDY PROGRAM

A Home-Study option is available for all students unable to participate in the classroom lectures or immersion courses. These candidates will receive the WSET study materials, study on thier own and take the exam on exam day in Dayton, Cleveland or Chicago (see dates listed above under Comprehensive Lecture Series and Immersion Classes).

Please note: Tasting is a critical part of the Advanced Certificate exam. Classes provide in-depth tasting knowledge and practical experience with WSET's "Systematic Method" of tasting. Without classroom instruction, some home-study candidates may have difficulty earning enough marks to satisfy the requirements of the tasting portion as well as the short answer segment of the exam.

Additional advantages provided by the in-class options include the increased discipline that classes bring to studies, the opportunity to network with other students and the ability to have questions answered by instructors.
